New to the Only4TheReal network is Artist of The Week. For our inaugural edition we chose to go with an Artist Chicago that goes by the name Ruff Coaley. While you probably never heard of him, you should have. Coaley includes music about struggling to survive on the City of Chicago streets, The "Come-Up", Everyday Life, and that all important Club Banger! To be relatively unknown Coaley has enjoyed moderate success in the streets in internet. He boasts (via youtube) to have sold over 20,000 mixtapes in the streets, and also claims to have accumulated half a million views and listens via the internet. Coaley has numerous mixtapes available via Datpiff.com (Search Ruff Coaley) and listen to other material. Only4TheReal will continue to support Coaley in his trek to the Top. While I enjoy Coaley's music, it is not for everyone. His tales of street glory, success and failure reminds me of another Only4TheReal Alumni T.O. Da Prezident. Besides that, with the pace Ruff Coaley is taking he will be a force to be reckoned with in the music game. Hit Coaley up at these Various adresses and let him know how you feel about his material.
