Buck 20 Brick Boyz is an interesting choice of name, what does it mean?

F Dot
We From 43rd Projects, Robert Taylor homes. We basically took 40x3 & came out One Hundred Twenty. We chose Buck Twenty our building was called Brick city, so we the Brick Boyz.

Billionaire Black:
Buck 20 Brick Boyz!

How did you you all meet and construct this group?
F. Dot & Choppa:
We brothers

F.Dot:
We were always rapping. Everybody rapped so we was like fuck it, we guys. Why not put this shit together, try and make something of it. It would be a crowd of people feel me and not feel Choppa. A crowd of people feel Choppa and not feel me and vice versa with the whole group. So we were like put it together and we bring all them crowds together.

Billionaire Black:
Now EVERYBODY Jocking!
_______________________________________________________________

Each one of you has a unique style, what/who inspires you all?

Choppa:
We inspire each other and plus i'm a Lil Wayne & Souljah Boy fan. I fuck with them hard!

Billionaire Black:
Souljah Boy the youngest rappers paid right now.

F.Dot:
We all play off each other. We only listen to our music, we get insight on other artists sometimes. Like we might come to your crib, you playing Lil Wayne or Gucci and i'm like "I like that". But really, mostly we just play off each other.

Nobody does anything just for the love, but is rap just about money to the Buck 20 Brick Boyz?

F.Dot:
We Do it for the fans.

Billionaire Black:
We love our fans!

Choppa:
ShoutOut all the fans. Ya'll keep it up!

F. Dot:
Without the fans there is no Buck 20

Choppa:
We gon get the money later!

Billionaire Black:
Keep them hits on Youtube coming!

The same thing so many people love about your music, is what makes certain people want to see you fail. How must you deal with the negativity surrounding the positive and productive path you chosen to take?

Choppa:
Living in Chicago, we've dealt with negativity all our lives. We grew up around it. So we gon get down automatically.

F.Dot:
It's all a job. Being a musician is a job, being a hater is a job. So if we keep doing our job we give them a chance to do they job.

_______________________________________________________________

The videos are excellent, music is good. What must Buck 20 do to take this music thing to the next level?

Choppa:
Team work

Billionaire Black:
Sticking together

F.Dot:
Keep working together, basically keep the momentum. Keep growing at the same pace we growing at.

Choppa:
We been doing this for like 10 months and we doing good so far. Videos views like 100,00 (laughs) 10,000, 11,000, 12,000, 13,000.

Billionaire Black:
Keep the music coming!

_______________________________________________________________

In your lyrics you describe the hardships, loss and struggles you've endured over your lives. When you reach a certain plateau, do you feel any obligation to help repair the broken communities you come from?

F.Dot:
Yeah I think we are obligated to give back because of everything that was given to us. What we rap about is basically whats going on, what happens in our neighborhood. We have to give back, give back to the fans, the people that was around.

Choppa
Give back to everybody who supported us

Billionaire Black:
Thank ya'll for that

F.Dot:
And those who hated us. I love them too. The Haters.

_______________________________________________________________

Do you all have any specific plans for your communities once you've reached the success you are in search of?

Choppa:
I always felt sorry for the homeless people, so I want to put a shelter in the hood for the homeless people.

F.Dot:
I want to give back to the youth. I feel like most the weight is on the youth right now, the peer pressure and its pulling them towards the street. When I was in the streets the only thing that pulled me out was the music. I would like to offer music back to the streets. Put studios in youth centers and have them feed off that that.

Billionaire Black:
That could be one of many opportunities we want to provide.
_______________________________________________________________

Individually how would you all define success, in your own terms?

Billionaire Black:
We"ll success to me is you can go anywhere, you in Miami from Chicago and everybody in Miami like "Damn that's Billionaire Black, that's Choppa, that's Buck 20. Appreciate what you do.

F.Dot:
Success is when they respect you. Us doing this has made people who didn't/don't like us, in the street, or wouldn't have fucked with us because of where we from, but by the music being as real as it is, you don't have no choice but to ride to the real. It's like our enemies & the people who had the potential to be our enemies are riding with us now.
_______________________________________________________________

If the level of success you strive for is god forbid "Unattainable", What are the Buck 20 Brick Boyz doing?

Billioniare Black:
We throw parties Cru Ent, Party Kingz.

Choppa:
We got our own clothing line. King.Cru and Space apparel for the women.

F.Dot:
I don't think God would make this unattainable. God is with us, we happy with it, It's gon happen!
